    help id 18650s

The grey LGABB41865 ones appear to be 2600mah LG batteries with max discharge of 1.5C, so around 4a. Couldn't find any information on chemistry and I would guess they aren't protected given their provenance. i think there isn't sufficient information to identify the others though I may be wrong?

    Lidl red Tronic battery test

A small amount, but seemed to have a few of each type. Just wishing i'd picked up more now, especially the D cells. Wanted to make sure they weren't a waste of money first.....

    Lidl red Tronic battery test

John, fwiw you're correct :) Behemoth seems to have got his head around it incorrectly, yes .5a is about a 1/4, but that would be expressed as .25 in decimal, not .4. Bought some AA & AAA from Lidl last week, discharged the AA's in my TN4A and first charge registered around 2100mah in my VC4...

    TM16GT Multimeter/Power Indicator Issues

Delighted with my recently received TM16GT, however it does seem to have a slight issue with its built in voltage/power measuring and I wondered if anybody else had the same. Fed the torch with freshly charged 18650B protected and have noticed that when the battery compartment is screwed down...

If you are considering the Thrunite TN4A HI version, but are undecided...

Coal fired power station, due to be decommissioned this year but i would't be surprised if it gets a reprieve https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ferrybridge_power_stations. The cooling towers are around 400ft tall and whilst not the largest, i can confirm they're mesmerisingly huge from this...

In fact I think it's safe to say I need to brush up on my picture taking skills ;)

Didn't come out very well as took it on my iPhone, but here's a pic of my TN4A HI pointing at a cooling tower, 325m confirmed with laser range finder.

    PWM Pictures

All 3 LED's are definitely lit in all modes and i can detect no flickering to my eye, though there is a buzzing on med/low, but only noticeable with torch to my ear - this is a Trustfire TR-3T6 that i've had for a couple of years now, before i discovered Nitecore/Olight/Thrunite etc :) Tried...

    PWM Pictures

I've seen the sticky and noted the pictures where the torch was waved to identify PWM, but noticed something funny yesterday and wondered if the images below of a torch on hi, med, then low are indicative of PWM on med and low? High Med Low
