    Klarus bad customer service

Another note about this: Klarus is supposedly sending a Mi1c as a replacement. So, a discontinued warranty light is being replaced by a discontinued light. If a manufacturer and an online dealer can't coordinate a warranty on an inexpensive EDC- how could either be trusted to warranty anything?

    Klarus bad customer service

I had a Klarus Mi7 in olive that was less than 1 year old. The engine died and I contacted Klarus to begin the warranty return. They instructed me to go through the dealer where I purchesed it (Battery Junction) which I did. That was nearly FIVE months ago! I have sent many emails to Battery...

Hello Manker. I'm looking into your lineup and considering you as my next purchase.

Why are NiMH 1.2v instead of 1.5v

^That's a very cool concept, when you put it that way.

Why are NiMH 1.2v instead of 1.5v

Obviously you guys have an extensive background in chemistry and electronics. I'm a simple man and all I know is my digital camera only works with rechargeable NiMH AA batteries; alkaline won't work. Somehow the circuit board won't accept them. It turns on then says, "low battery" and shuts off...

wheres the best place to buy paracord?

I hate to revive an old thread but I have a useful link for reflective and strong line: http://www.campmor.com/outdoor/gear/Product___49215 I have used this cordage for weaving and it's slightly smaller than 550 paracord.

Announcing the flashlight/rechargeable battery compatibility chart.

Yes & no. Yes I saw the post but no I didn't click on the link. I assumed it was just a link to help in the search for the original doc. My mistake; you know what happens when you assume... :o

    Inova customer service

I got the flashlight in the mail. A lot has changed from the old model. There is a new switch and 4 modes of output. (low, high, strobe, pushbutton/momentary on) There is also a new battery holder; it still uses 3 cr123's but they go in a holder with both + and - terminals at the top. This makes...

I'd also be interested in seeing this info. Has anyone found or recovered the original? :poke:

Handheld 500W LED Power .... finally finished (Beamshots added)

Re: Handheld 500W LED Power .... finally finished I might have a name... Die beleuchtete Herzen (The illuminated heart) What do you think?!

Handheld 500W LED Power .... finally finished (Beamshots added)

Re: Handheld 500W LED Power .... finally finished While I'm astounded at the mere construction and array of lighting, I must ask the question; why? To be clear- I mean no offence and I'm not flaming. What is the usage purpose? Was this a project just for fun or do you have some...

Lanyards on your EDC? Must have? Do not care either way? Hate them?

I also prefer no lanyard but am very intrigued by the handmade fobs, grips, and lanyards that members here have woven & knotted. So much so, that I've ordered 2 100' hanks of 5mm paracord off e-bay to toy around with. Maybe my old rock climbing days will get re-booted in my memory banks. :D

I got a different color light when I sent in my inova for repair

And I think a lot of people associate whiter lights with being brighter (higher lumen output) than flashlights with a color variation of the LED. I personally like a light that gives better color rendering versus pure whites that tend to wash out detail especially at greater distances.

    ice storm

When I got up it was 9*F by my outside window thermometer. It has been windy (wind chill factors -5 to - 20 F) and we are getting some more snow. Funny thing, a few days ago we had a warm system blow through and it was in the high 30's; a lot of snow melted. Too bad it just refroze that night...

    River Rock Designs customer service

I had posted in another thread (Inova cust. service) of how I'd contacted River Rock Designs also, in regards to a faulty light. Within 1 week of my e-mail to them they sent a replacement light free without requiring the old one in reurn. Kudos to River Rock! It was a 2-AA "Next Camouflage"...
