    Never had a problem with my 7060 even after dropping it multiple times on the bezel, tailcap, side, etc. Glad to hear Pelican took care of you though!

    I dropped mine last night from about 5 feet up and it landed on the side of the bezel. There was a slight scuff in the anodizing and the lens was fine.

    I've been using a 7060 for just about a year now and it has been dropped in every way imaginable (even from a moving vehicle). It is definitely roughed up, but it keeps on ticking.

    There was a runtime graph of the TK40 running for about an hour and a half on turbo mode. It's a non-issue, IMO, and the warning is there as a CYA kind of thing.

    Hmm, haven't tried putting my Eneloops in there yet. I have 2 sets charged up and ready to go, but figured I'd used the batteries that got thrown in when I bought it.
