I have read numerous threads on the specs of this light, and all are cautious about twin rechargeables, but very few has ever reported trying.
All in the name of science I just had to try... I am currently running my L2 on two AW RCR123, and it´s doing well so far.
I have just bought an old L2 Lumamax in perfect condition. The light is nice, but I would like to have some info on specs. The sad part is that Surefire doesn´t list it as a discontinued item, and all info is on the new Lx2...

Vital Gear FB2 on a Vital Gear flashlight mount, and in the front -a Lumens factory E2C completed with an M2 head and FM63 IR-filter.
I did an aspheric maglite with this lens yesterday, and it seems to be acceptable in quality. Thats a good thing since DX cheap lenses seems to have gone down the drain in terms of optical quality.
Isn´t the AAA-holders in series... that would make it impossible to just wrap something around them to make the wobble go away. You need connectors to be within the spacers to give 3,6V
Or have you lengthened the tube enough to take the AAA´s in a single column?
The first light is a Novatac... thats pretty far from a P60-host :ooo: And the second is some form of tritium-based light. The second might be doable if you make a base that fits in the rear of the bezel of your light, then apply tritium and some form of lens. The first one is pretty difficult...
