It was the factory battery after cutting the klarus wrapper off I seen is was a Samsung INR21700-50E. I put the only battery I have in the light a 18650 LG hg2 and put a perfect size of aluminum foil take up the space and it works fine and even charges the battery. I know my tester is not faulty...
We left the light on overnight on level 2 it had a full battery but when I woke up 5 hours later the light was off so and wouldn't turn on. When I plugged it in the light was flashing yellow that means it needs an inspection according to the manual. Does anyone know how to fix this problem...
I need to find a 21700 protected cell with 5000mah and more than 15a I also need a 26650 that has minimum 5000mah and minimum of 30a. I have tried to find them especially the 26650 min is starting to lose mah and the skin is bubbling. It's just hard to find legit batteries here in the...
I don't want to buy another streamlight I don't like them and they dont sell them here if I did that's why I want to try to mod this 1. I have 3 other flashlights my edc is 1300 lumens my old edc is 1560 lumens but was a little heavy for a 700 meter thrower
Is there a way to mod my streamlight protac hl to get more lumens out of it? I won't care what happens to it too much because I have 3 other flashlights with more lumens. There must be a way to increase the output of this light to atleast 2000 lumen so it doesn't do any internal damage.

I emptied my battery and used my Xtar charger and it showed almost 4900mah in it when it was done it took around 12 hours to charge it. So from now on I use my flashlight to charge it. Big difference using 2 amp instead of .5 amp. Overall I am very happy with the quality of the battery.
I think if I use automotive wet/dry sandpaper and sand it in a bucket of water using 1000 and 2000 grit I can get it smooth. Then use a car polish to make it shine more.
Thanks because finding a minus aspheric lens is not going to be easy in the Philippines because the way this light is shaped a plus won't fit. I can just see it cracking when I snug it together and there goes the Waterproof with a plus.
I went to clean the reflector in my light not knowing that the silver coating would come off and leave a yellow coating so I sanded down the reflector and now it has a flood beam. Does anyone know how I can make it a thrower again without buying a new reflector? what I did to the reflector and...
