    That one has the patent number on the side. Mine has a plain "Surefire" written on the side. I have yet to have seen another one like that.

    I think it is strange that the flash light has no model numbers, Patent info, etc, like every other photo of a Backup that I have seen - only "Backup" written on the side. Was that done during a certain time period?
