    How about get folks in charge of said shelter to edc lights? Then it won't deteriorate sitting idle.or get "borrowed" Same with the batteries Sucks to need it then find it missing or those duracells have all leaked in the package or worse yet in the light!

    Don't use them. The bms may disconnect before the low battery warning leaving you with no protection.

    No technical or safety reason it can't be used in the old incandescent strion. Mine has an mj1 cell in its pack. I rebuilt the pack myself. This is purely marketing B.S.

    Couple of those around the shop with 21700 in an adapter and a kpr130 . They seem ok with hot bulbs. The large metal bulb holder/contact probably helps

    I was given a penlight with an order from hakko. It probably will be a pain to replace the button cells in it someday but for now its working. I dont write much anymore but nice anyway

    Sony bmg renamed because of the negativity surrounding the name. Remember the audio cd's with a trojan on them? And the proposed remedy from sony was worse yet. I bet this fiasco caused more piracy as now you cant trust a cd!

    Anyone chart the lumen depreciation on these bulbs? I suspect as hot as the funnel (heatsink) gets the dice are running very hot due to drive level and stokes losses.

    It all boils down to individual ability. A 6 d loaded with heavy nimh cells is no issue for me to swing. Gotta use something matched to your capability. Mom had a 7c to carry when she walked at night. She never needed to use it other than as a light. And yes she could swing it if necessary.
