Anyone buy the Armytek Tiara A1 or C1 yet?

I have transferred my armytek wizard pro out of the holder various times without even a slight sign of damage. My tiara however is far too snug and difficult to remove, that I could see why people have broken theirs. I also find it way to stiff so it is hard to rotate up and down to change the...

Give us what we want manufacturers... Hi CRI Neutral White emitters(poll to prove it)

I personally prefer a warm neutral tint for headlamps such as the one on my Armytek Wizard Pro. I prefer a cooler white for my handheld flashlights. I think this is because with headlamps I intend to do more close up work, so I like warmer, diffused light up close. For handheld flashlights, I...

Ah I see. Either way, that is something I'd love to volunteer for. I lost a friend of mine to a flash flood and they had to do a search and rescue effort. Unfortunately I wasn't there at the time to help, but I wish I was. How often do you join SAR teams? By the way, I can also confirm that the...

Man I would love to have an adventurous job like that . I tried to fix the picture link. Let me know if it works now. With your use case, I think the Wizard Pro has several advantages over the Black Diamond Revolt: -More rugged. Shock proof and water proof -Higher outputs -Much longer run...

Hi Henrik, got a chance to do a test and take a picture (see below). I can say the Wizard Pro warm has quite an impressive throw on main mode 2 especially for a light that has no hot spot and a diffused lens. In the picture I am standing at one end of a basement that is about 30-35m wall to wall...

Not really sure about the v1.0, but I really love my v1.5 wizard pro warm. Not sure what they changed. If they are almost the same, then I'm sure you're going to love it.

Anyone buy the Armytek Tiara A1 or C1 yet?

Does your v1.5 have a switch that blinks green? I ordered a tiara but not sure what version I have. It didn't come with a manual either

Anyone buy the Armytek Tiara A1 or C1 yet?

It appears they omitted the ability to indicate the precise voltage of the battery via the main LED. The only way of knowing what the battery state is is through the switch button that blinks different colors. It is apparent that they removed this ability because it is no where to be found in...

Did the freezer test. Left my wizard in there for a solid 20+ minutes. It was very cold to the touch when it came out. What I discovered is that every mode works properly and consistently except turbo/highest mode. When on the highest mode, it starts blinking and lowers output. Every other mode...

I have no tools to measure this, but I can say with confidence that each mode looks exactly the same whether my battery is full or nearly empty. However when my battery is low, it no longer allows me to use the turbo mode and starts blinking to indicate that it will lower the output. I still...

Not sure what you're referring to here? The first firefly mode is 0.2 lumens. On my wizard pro, it is super dim you can barely see unless it is almost pitch black.

Need a flashlight for electrical work

What I'd probably do in this case is use a headlamp that leans toward the floody side for close up work with both hands free, then if I need throw, I'd have a separate handheld flashlight. In this case I highly recommend the Armytek Wizard Pro headlamp. The new one has a magnet in the tailcap...

There is a slight difference. Omit step 4 in order to turn on tactical mode, and just unscrew the tail cap again to turn it off. Add step 4 to turn on/off state indicator.

It's quite easy to turn off the state indicator: While light is off, unscrew the tailcap by 1/4 Press and hold the button While the button is pressed, tighten the tail cap again Unscrew the tailcap again by 1/4, ensuring you are still holding down the button. Repeat steps to turn it back on...

So the tint is changed from the v1.5 warm? I really love the tint of my wizard pro. If they changed it that would be a big shame because I think they got it perfect.
