The light works perfectly though, and I assume it's been calibrated to account for any effect that spot may have on the lumen output.     Nothing wrong with the beam or light itself that I can see. Just wondering if that scratch, or whatever it is, could be an issue for the longevity of the LED. Here's a pic. It's been my EDC since I got it.

    I got my 2700K rotary in hand now. I saw some spots of something on the LED dome. Is there something wrong with the LED that would be a concern?

    I got a custom 18650 rotary with the 170 lumen, 2700k led option. Maybe they had most of the parts already? 🤷‍♂️

    Mine are very fine scratches. If you put your light into the lowest mode and look at the glass you can see them.

    Ok, good to know. If I don't want to be all delicate with it and have to see the scratches, is there a good way to strip the AR coating from the sapphire glass so I do not have to worry about it?
