Dumb question but will a dimming LED's extend their life? I have some landscape LED's on a timer, so they illuminate every night for several hours.
The manufacture sells an adjustable dimming module. Would dimming the LED prolong their useful life? The LED strips themselves are not easily...
One would think that would be the case but Suzuki doesn't maintain part numbers for individual connectors. It's only sold as part of the complete harness.
BMW has a part number for every connector and terminal.

Yes, I realize the Dorman is an assembled pigtail while the part being sold by Rally Lights is components. In stating that the two look the same, I was referring to the socket housings. The two look identical (regardless of whether the picture on the RL site is accurate), which is to say the...
Okay...I'll give it a try. The picture looks pretty much the same as the pigtail Dorman sells (84784).
While the HL87193 will probably work, I am still curious to know the OE part numbers. I can't imagine Mouser doesn't have these.
Thanks again.

I'm trying to identify and source the socket and components.

I'm drawing a blank. Does anyone know how to...
I installed six of these 3" Commerical Electric (Home Depot) dimmable recessed cans today in my bedroom (50w equivalent). I have to say, I'm impressed with the light output and the color of the light. They also dim quite well with a Lutron LED Diva dimmer.
In my living room, I have six 4"...
Bumping an old thread:
I've got a WF-501B that I like but I'm tired of of the CR123 batteries.
Looking for recommendations for an inexpensive (sub $35) alternative of similar size and brightness that uses more commonly available (and less expensive) batteries (like AA or AAA).
TIA.

I just installed six Lightolier recessed cans with magnetic transformers. I'm also installing six Lightolier trackheads with electronic transformers.
All are using a Sylvania 58309 50w MR16 GU5.3 halogen floods and are on dimmers. The Lutron dimmer for the magnetic transformers is rated for...
