Cool, cheers guys. My chargers are still charging them but they've lost capacity over the years. Is there any other metrics of the battery that indicate battery health? Eg impedance etc?
I've got some old eneloops, which are around 10 years old and their capacity is around 1700mh however when do you guys officially retire an old battery?
Just purchased a Nitecore USN4, see link
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07L3YT8FN/
It doesn't come with a power adaptor and will work off most USB power supplies but non in my house seem to charge my Sony batteries at the faster rate.
Which power supply do I need? I was looking at some Anker...
I've just looked at the manufacture date of these batteries and they are 10 years old, must be my first lot of Eneloops, so not sure how many cycles they have gone through. So not bad after 10 years, mainly used in my xbox controllers.
I've done 3 RA cycles, first 2 cycles I got improvement...
Ah yeah would miss the independent channels, which less expensive charger(than the dragon) is it that you have? Just need another charger to charge my AA and AAA batteries.
Haha yeah I don't post often, just for advice really.
Ive just done a refresh and analyse and two of the first Eneloops are reading 1603 and 1628, around about 84% if you take the 1900 minimum or 80% if you take the batteries at 2000.
Might just see if I can get the capacity up with a break in
I've got some aging Eneloops which have never been on the break in program on my c9000.
I've noticed a drop in capacity, around 1700-1800 on some, would you say that's still ok? Should I run them through break in cycle? What's best settings for break in cycle?
Hey everyone
Just got a Miboxer c4-12 and I see it gives internal resistance readings on the screen.
What I'm unsure of is how to interpret these numbers.
What internal resistance counts as a bad AA battery and what number is a good AA battery?
Now that I'm way on my way sorting through my batteries I want to sort them into pairs.
I mainly use the batteries in Xbox controllers, imac mouse and keyboards etc.
Is there a method or formula to work out matching cells?
Many thanks, I was under the impression that discharging that quick can shorten the life of the battery? Please correct me if I am wrong. :-) I am still learning the best practice to look after the batteries and maximise the life of them.
Generally what is your maintenance of your batteries? Do...
I want to make sure I'm treating my eneloops with the correct care.
I charge my eneloops with 0.5c-1c but what is recommended discharge setting for the discharge part of refresh analyse program on mh9000?
I've always done 400mah which I believe is 0.2c.
Right, bit of an update but I have gone through all of my Eneloops and they have a massive range of capacity, some I must have damaged in someway.
I am wanting to match them so they last longer in the devices I use, how is best to do this?
The main things I use my Eneloops in is iMac magic...
