What did you use your flashlight for today?

Used my OLight M21-X to take a look in m well and violently hit the pressure switch with a screwdriver, causing it to unstick and allow the pump to work properly. That was Friday night / Sat Morning, and it is still working well Monday morning. Woohoo!

Re: current light/battery table I say for the output, we do it 600/240/100/Strobe, and we can put the runtime in the discussion, perhaps?

Re: current light/battery table I think that would be a good idea, but it might be too much information for the cells to contain without either making them very long, or tall.

You'll probably be better off finding a 12V Power Supply from a place like ProgressiveRC or HobbyKing

    Voltmeter for 18650's?

The PCB on the battery only trips when the voltage falls below a certain point while the battery is under load. The flashlight itself may or may not have protection. I know my Olight will keep running until the batteries trip, so I've gotta watch the light output. Personally, if you have a good...

    Hobby charger or basic charger

I've got a hobby charger that I use (Venom Pro) and it kicks. I can charge my CK 3100s in about 3 hours per cell using Panasonic's recommended charge rate (900mAh, which is as close as I can get.) I probably could use 1.5A charge, but I want my cells to last as long as possible.

    Voltmeter for 18650's?

It all depends on the light. I just use it as a sign to charge the battery. As for the PCB, once it trips, the light will just die. What you'll have to do is measure the voltage on the battery with a voltmeter after the light goes into this mode.

    1st winter using systhetic oil.

I noted on my Cobalt 4cyl that under cold start conditions, valvetrain noise went away MUCH faster when I used synthetic than it did when I used regular oil. Also, the Oil that came out of the crankcase at oil changes was much thicker when I used regular, and much closer to original viscosity...

Re: current light/battery table you're adding categories faster than I can research and fill em in. :P - I've finished the Olight section. 33 lights with all data I can find, minus dimensions.

Re: current light/battery table Do we assume, if a light can take 2x RCR123, that the high voltage is then 8.4V?
