    I'm in Florida and even in the summer as long as I am walking around, the head doesn't get much past warm. However, set it on a desk and ceiling bounce it without a fan on it and you're going to melt the lens on it. Same thing with the Hound Dog Super. Thinking about selling some of them...

    Opinions for $250 light

    Surefire mastered the throw/spill mix decades ago. However, 250 will only get you about 1000 lumens. The olight Marauder 2 would have been a good throw and flood as it actually has a switch to change between, but since the sale is over 250 won't buy it.

    Longest Lasting 1200 lumen flashlight

    I do all the time. LOL. I hike with 1200 lumens or more with an Olight seeker 2 pro, or a Malkoff Wildcat V6 or Hound Dog Super. I like to see far enough ahead I can drop anything walking if need be at 50 to 100 yards with a Glock 20 with Underwood Ammo.

    Olight seeker 2 pro runs 110 minutes @1200 lumens, then drops to 600 lumens for 30 more minutes.

    Yes, I remember talking to Todd I think is was, and he explained how one will fit one head but the other lens or gasket doesn't work for the other head well. It just makes no sense for the website to offer 16.5 and 22.3 if there is no difference in them.

    I checked and the lenses and gaskets look identical to me in size. So I will give him a call Monday.

    I like it more than I expected the tint is very nice. Are there different size lenses or gaskets? They look the same to me. I'm confused. Called Gene but no answer 4 PM on Friday I'm sure he is busy. Tonight I will take it into the woods for proper testing.

    I got my MD2 M61 light yesterday and it has a 22.3 head. Is that normal now? I also ordered a 16.5 lens kit in the same order, and the bag says 16.5 lens kit, but it is the same size as the 22.3 lens. I guess the lenses and gaskets are the same size. But if that is the case why have a option...

    New Malkoff M61 LED question regarding the SST-20

    I got the SST-20 5700k today and I am very impressed with the tint. If you're on the fence on this model, it is really nice. That 5700k really takes the ice out of the 6200k emitters.
