    While it's not a clicky light the reylight mini is pretty good. 3 brightness levels and nichia 219c 4000k and it's copper for $25 on Amazon.

    My thoughts too with my manker e14 with 219c 4000k. I prefer 5000k nichia and will probably swap the emitters in the manker.

    I've tried 3000k in lights but didn't care for it. 4000k is the warmest I like to go now. The warmer you go the more everything looks orange and colors blend to much to make out detail.

    Single CR123A light that will drain batteries

    Maybe this zebralight? http://www.zebralight.com/H302-CR123-Flood-Headlamp-Cool-White_p_157.html I know it's a headlamp but it comes with a pocket clip too. It's a pure flood light and takes either cr123 or 16340 rechargeable batteries.

    I'm going to send him a battery to test in the light. He told me that the light has less than an hour of use because of this problem shutting down. He said sometimes it'll only stay on a few seconds and sometimes up to 5 minutes. I'm guessing the protection on the cells is tripping and turning...

    What's puzzling is that 2 batteries do the same thing. He mentioned that he didn't use the light for several months since he only uses it during hunting season so it was stored from from fall 2016 to fall of 2017 between uses. Could the batteries have gone bad just being stored?

    What was the last LED light you purchased and why?

    A green convoy s2+ with 7a tint. I liked the s2+ I got my buddy but his is the grey one with a rubbber button with 1a tint so I wanted a warmer tint and metal clicky. I also have plenty of neutral white lights so it needed to be different than those. Maybe I'll get a 18350 tube for it also.
