LEP discussion thread: (White laser flashlights)

I think as the technology improves they will be more widely accepted/used. I have an Acebeam W-10 2nd gen for night walks. The spot to flood ratio works for me. It will be fun to see how LEPs evolve.

    Remember these?

Hi, The Dynalite of the 1960's contributed substantially to my flashlightaholicizm. I modded by replacing the 6C bulb with a 5C. It ran for maybe a hour before it burned out, but it was pretty bright. A few neighborhood kids and myself were outside one summer night hangin' out, when a...

    EagTac D3A Ti Nichia 219C - not really Li-ion compatible (?)

The 2014 D25a Nichia 219C is what I've been carring for years. I have dropped it from a second story building, cracked the lens, and I still use it every day and every night. LMH modes are great. Don't monkey around Eagtac, reintroduce this model please.:)

Changes to Zebralight UI: Why not?

Good Ideas but a little geeky. I mean that in a good way. It depends on whether you want to play with your flashlight or use it. I think two modes are plenty... Low & High, with the option to program the lower output. If I need a light and I need it now I don't want to thinkab When was...

    Best AAA led keychain flashlight?

If you want a one mode bright little light try a LED Lenser P3 AFS P. No strobe but it's the brightest little flashlight I own. The flood to spot function works well also. It's around 30 bucks.
