    Mechanic's headlamp? High-clearance, low shadow...

I wrench relatively often, and although they aren't 18650 lights, I've found the headband cobb/spot light rechargeable combo from Amazon pretty handy. A two pack was like $15. Having 2 helps because I find they don't last that long, so you can swap them out. They even have a motion setting for...

    Looking back on 20 years

You guys have been here long enough to remember the excitement when a member would create a new light, a list would be created and you were waiting (im) patiently for the build. I've only occasionally lurked in recent years.

Hi, I have a very very early Muyshondt. I was among the first to buy from him. It's twisty, two stage, hard anodized. If the old forum existed, you could find it was an early buy. If you think you might be interested, I'll dig it up.

    Help replacing a welded 18650 7.2 pack

So I have a Skill 7.2v power wrench. It's a 1/4" light duty ratchet. It stopped working early in it's life and I'm sure it's battery related. I managed to get it apart, and it has a two pack of 18650 batteries that are connected by the welded metal strips. Of course the factory doesn't offer a...

How to dispose of old CR123 batteries?

Lowes as well as home depot only claim to take rechargeables on their website. No provisions for disposable lithium ion... Bummer. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6003 using Tapatalk

How to dispose of old CR123 batteries?

So I haven't been active in a really long time...the cells expired years ago, but to be certain, I used my ZTE pulse load tester, and the majority didnt register, and some were like 10%.

How to dispose of old CR123 batteries?

Hi All, So I haven't been active on the forum for many years. I recently dug back into my crazy collection from my active days and I probably have 50+ old, dead CR123 and cr2 cells. I searched online, as well as this forum, and cannot find much recent guidance on disposal. Alkalines pretty...

Searching for rechargeable keychain flashlight - replacement for Nitecore Tube

I know your mentioned to disregard Fenix E03R because of the red light. I carry that light and don't ever use the red. The white is all I bought it for and I'm quite happy. USB-C, relatively easy to lock out, and decent run times for the amount of light. You might want to take a second look...

OT? Is there an Android smart-phone app that limits battery charge % to below 90%?

Look up Gard charge from joybien. I purchased either on Kickstarter or Indiegogo. It may do what you want. I was pretty happy you can time out or you can use voltage to end charge.

Where did all the oldtimers go.

I haven't really been here much in years, I just stop in once in a while. Arc LS was my first 'premium' light. It was super exciting getting in on all the custom lights. The VIP, the Lionheart, the original Muyshondt light all are classics. I bought tons of modding circuits, heatsinks...

    Sold/Expired WTB: PR-T head

Just dug it up. My mistake its a Mclux PR, not the PR-T. This is an earlier model. http://dmcleish.com/CPF/McLux-5/ When you get to the part where he says some of these heads were anodized black, that's what I have, but its HA. Might be able to take a couple pictures later.
