It amazes me people still try to run lol. My life is simple first I don't break laws second if I'm pulled over for anything I pull over I'm polite and listen and guess how many tickets I got? Non lol. And in my younger days I used to speed. I was always just honest and polite I'll get a warning and that's it. Now I'm old I do 44 in the 45. A speeding ticket bet cost more then my bike plus insurance goes up

Back in the middle of April, there were a number of posters here, positing things about red heifers, and Muslims attacking Christians and the start of World War III.

Welp, today is May 8th and I'm sorry to inform all you death cult believers, that none of that crap has happened. Some innocent cows may have been sacrificed, but save that, we're all still going on about the business of living.

The first time that I can actually really remember my parents talking about how we were living in the "end times" was when they were putting ribbons around the trees for the hostages in Iran. My father told me very explicitly that we were living in the "end times then. I was nine.

I'm now 52 and for the preceding years between nine and 50, every time something bad happened here in the US, I kept getting told we are living in the "end times."

I mean, imagine what a struggle it must be for members of this death cult to realize that they aren't getting any closer to seeing their god based on the "end times."

Now, Rather than being swept up with all the other "believers" in some grand tribulation showcase, my father has just found out that he has stage three non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. No joke here, but certainly, at 84, the "end times." A true, true shame.

Very sorry to hear about your elderly father's condition.
Thanks Mono. I'm sure he knows there are a number of people praying for him, but in a very real life ironic way, he must rely on the advances of man to keep him from going to, as he believes, meet his maker.

I also wanted to add to my above post that I'm very thankful posts such as mine are being allowed to happen outside of the UG. I spent a ton of time down there, and it certainly did have its moments where it was really ugly. Perhaps maybe we are all older and wiser now, and can - and do - accept the fact that not everyone thinks the same way, and then respond in such a manner as to just carry on a conversation like we're all sitting around having a beer. Perhaps, in some cases, not having moderators here all the time is OK. 🙂

Please provide some quotes.

So why have you decided to bring some of the ugly up here?

Sure, I'll help you do your research...

From this thread, by Hooked on Fenix, 4/6/24, I've put the relevant text in BOLD:

Just wait until Monday, the Jewish New Year (Nisan 1) during a total solar eclipse over the U.S. and April 22, Jewish Passover when Israel plans to sacrifice some red heifers to reconsecrate the new temple. So you know, the attack on October 7 was being justified as the 100 day anniversary when they flew the red heifers over from the U.S..They are also known as apocalypse cows. As soon as they are sacrificed, it will anger all the Muslims in the world to attack Christians and Jews as an indicator of the end of the world, and that killing all Christians and Jews will bring back their Mahdi (messiah), or the Jewish and Christian antichrist. We live in interesting times.

Also from this thread, by Hooked on Fenix, 4/14/24, I've put the relevant text in BOLD:

Looks like things are heating up in Israel. Looks like this could kick off World War III.

And lastly, from this thread, and from the forum prophet on 4/14/24, I've again put the relevant text in BOLD:

About this, they are already talking about the possibility of Israel going after Iran's nuclear facilities. Jeremiah 49:34-39 of the Bible talks about Elam (a part of Iran located right around the area of the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant) and that God will "break the bow of Elam, the mainstay of their might" (lran's might is nuclear power/weapons). Then He will "scatter them to the four winds, and there will not be a nation where Elam's exiles do not go." From the whole passage, it sounds like Iran's nuclear facilities get attacked, they have to flee from the fallout, and they scatter to all the nations as they are pursued by their enemies. I could be wrong from the interpretation, but this is looking like a likely possibility in the very near future.

I happened to be incorrect in my use of the exact phrase, "a number of posters here," when, in fact, it was really only the forum prophet making the absurd statements and then others sorta responding. My bad. I admit my error. The facts of what I wrote otherwise still stand.

So why have you decided to bring some of the ugly up here?

To be reticent, I simply have not done such, and to suggest otherwise would simple be harboring the truth.

Perhaps not all of us have grown wiser. Yes, I mean you.

Such assured words from a known...well, I'll be reticent again.

I stand by my original statement(s); we aren't in any "end times," so-called prophets have been scarring folks with this BS for centuries, and outside of using the bible to "prove" the bible, there is nothing. Nothing. I'm more than willing to get involved in a "biblical proof" discussion with anyone here, especially as it relates to the "end times," but I'd rather do it in the confines of PM's, as I'd rather not have untainted minds (if there are any left out there on this forum) have to slog through a bunch of unprovable, "I know because I've have a personal relationship with X" tripe.

Just so we're clear, Israel did attack Iran. They did a strategic attack in such a way as to drop a missile in the heart of Iran, near where they started their nuclear program. They also took out their tracking systems so Iran couldn't see the next attack coming. At that point, both sides realized how close they were to full out nuclear war and took a step back to think things through a bit more. Neither side is stupid. Now weapons are being held back from Israel by Biden for going into Rafah, for the first time in history. This tells Israel's enemies they are now alone. Not a good message if your goal is to stop the attacks against Israel. Now, if you haven't noticed the anti-Israel "protests" on college campuses rising up and indoctrinating students into full blown jihadists, you're blind. They've found swords in the encampments, and have threatened to behead faculty members. As for the red heifers, I haven't heard much since they got to Israel. Hamas used the 100 day anniversary of their arrival in Israel as a justification for the attack on October 7. Knowing this, if I was an Israeli, I'd probably want to do the sacrifice in secret so as not to stir up the anger of all the Muslims in the world.

Hey, I'll back 'the forum prophet' any day. From my observation, @Hooked on Fenix is sensible and knowledgeable dude with a perspective to be respected, just like we all should for each other. @wacbzz, this isn't a cross-examination with a murder conviction on the line, right?
Let's all be civil what, old chaps. :dedhorse:
