It is back in stock now. Please understand we send email newsletters at the same time we post on CPF. Sometimes sales are such that interest from our marketing efforts is great. Unless the factory is out of stock on a product, we quickly restock. Please let us know the exact question you have and we will get the exact specifics from the Fenix engineers. Thank you for being a part of our community.Any information you can provide regarding Color rendering would be welcome.
Curious that your link indicates out of stock at the time of this post.
$100 US
Thank you for your response.
Ask your engineers what the Color Rendering Index is at different color temperatures for this tool. Including R9 would be helpful.
We will post the answer here when we hear back from them. Thanks! It is back in stock now. Please understand we send email newsletters at the same time we post on CPF. We will send this thread to Fenix/engineers. Corporate does read the forum so hopefully they will consider your comments. Thanks for making the products better.Thank you for responding!
Hopefully in the future, Fenix will understand that candlepowerforums is an enthusiast site; that many of us here care very much about the quality of the light from our tools.
If a manufacturer claims one of their products is suitable for photography yet provides nothing in the way of explaining how or why it is suitable (namely good color rendering) then their credibility is in question.
The days of "don't you worry your pretty little head, we will decide what is best for you" is long gone for most consumers in the crowded flashlight market we are experiencing today.
We understand Fenix Store is not the problem here but it could be part of the solution.
Thanks!
