I'm a fan of Made in USA products. My favorite is Cordova Coolers. Made in Alaska. Vet owned. 1/3 less than other rotomolded USA-made coolers. Top access latches, which are awesome. Metal handles, which are incredible. Better design. Equal or better quality. Made in USA. And cost LESS. What's not to love? :)

Another vote for Ozark Trail coolers. Actually their coozies work well too and the price is right.

I was in need of a better cooler this last summer, and decided I couldn't stomach the price on the Yeti.
After a bit of research, I settled on a Catergator from webrestaurantstore. Rotomoulded, rope handles, stainless hardware, about 1/3rd the price and it's been fantastic.
