Hello,

can someone tell me about the Eveready No.2671 2-Cell Focusing Spotlight? I keep seeing it in period advertisments for the 1920s, but would like to know how it actually measures up to a modern flashlight.
How much does it weigh exactly, complete with batteries?
Does the stated range of 200 feet sound credible? That would be pretty good performance for many modern flashlights.
How long did the batteries last?

Many thanks!

Does it look anything like this?

You have a very nice vintage light. This web site has a number of similiar lights from the 1920's.

Can you post a pic of your light for us? Thanks.

Welcome to CPF!

Thanks for the welcome! Unfortunately I don't own one of these antiques, that's why I have to ask questions about it! I've seen it in many period catalogues of the 1920s, but they don't provide the data I seek.
