Went to a Vet-day ceremony this morning, wore my colors. There were WWII, Korea, Vietnam vets present. First time for me going to one of these events.
I wouldn't say it's happy or fun. Most of it was somber and depressing. Some younger vets act too sanctimonious for my liking. I will politely pass on future invites.

Three WWII warbirds did a flyover. That made the trip worth while.
