Not bad, they're great if you're out for a light & fast action on a knife and that's all a lot of people want. But they're less then ideal for "hard use" knives (whatever that means) because they offer less lateral blade stability, are more prone to breaking, more sensitive to dirt, more difficult to clean & sometimes to disassemble (ikbs). Overtime the hard ball bearings can eat a grove into the blade and liners which might cause blade play down the line. Engineering wise not the wisest solution, IMO large bronze washers are still the best.

They use bearings now? Looks like they gave into the pressure, what a shame. So much for "hard use" lol. At least CRK seems to still have the right idea. Guess Ive been out of the tactical knife scene for a while..
He left the choice, the new knives come with bearings + bronze washers + fluoroplastic washers. Very good for everyone
