Hello all,

I'm new to the forums and would like your advice. Recently I started a project where I want to track IR movements via camera. I have a webcam set up which has an IR filter and am using this flashlight:

as sources. I taped some diffusers onto the flashlights because sadly they don't fit on exactly. They both work fine but I would like something more efficient with scattering that doesn't let the light reach the tip of the diffuser (diffuse 360 degrees to the plane perpendicular to the beam). Any suggestions? I was thinking of taping up the diffuser with painter's tape or having a glue gun fill in the diffuser tip, but I'm not sure if there's an industry standard or another flashlight that would be better for this. It needs to be LED. Thanks!
