Odd Zebralight issue. Anyone have this happen ?

So my zebra H502 stopped working recently. I knew it didn't die so I tried a couple of different things. I noticed one of the solder joints on the spring came loose. so I soldered it back on and it temporarily fixed it. then one day it stopped working again. so I inspected it a bit more and found that where the button of my eneloop is suppose to make contact it was slightly pushed in a bit (inside of tube, near LED). I dropped a piece of solder in there (not permanent) and sure enough it fixed it. Does anyone have any idea at all how this would slightly bend in from simply swapping batteries in and out ?
