He has some pretty good stuff to say. I've watched a lot if his videos and he has a lot more knowledge than some give him credit for.

Didn't he get in some trouble, recently, about his "credentials"?

I'd be careful listening to many of the internet "experts".

some of his creds were just expired
he explained it in a video a while ago
he isn't just an internet expert he has seen combat in falujah and was a police officer
put it this way, if your first aid certificate expired last week and today there's a guy bleeding out at work and someone "yells who knows first aid"? would you step forward or just sit back

The controversy over James Yeager is not about his CPR certificates being expired. He had his CCW permit revoked (by State of Tennessee?) at some point for making public death threats against anyone "coming to confiscate" his beloved guns. He was also fired by two police departments but thought the federal law for retired law enforcement officers gave him the right to carry between states. His reputation took the biggest hit in the gun/military community when as a private contractor he deserted his team and took cover to hide while they were being ambushed. Of course there are different version of the story and the endless forum arguments all over the internet about him, but this guy has been burning bridges fast within last few years. As recent as last year, one of his firearms instructors left his gun range because of Yeager.
