Hello, I am excited to join this forum because I secretly have an aspiration to learn how to use milling machines and create my own flashlights and lasers from scratch. I will write more of an intro into the correct forum.
Back to knifemaking
I finished this knife today it is made from: leaf spring, copper pipe, paduk, and mild steel pins. I am sending this to a master gardener who helped set up my family garden.
It is fairly well heat treated for what I have but without a tester I would Have to say it is between 50 - 55 in hardness. I am a little burned out of knife forging for now it is getting too hot outside.
I would just directly link to a facebook photo but I have found the links seem to change after a while and that is hotlinking (I never knew of it before).
so here is my google+ album of it. http://plus.google.com/photos/10660...ms/6159645880365793537?authkey=CN624fXF8K3pXA
