Would the QTC pill work in an Eiger with a lower output head, like #0?

What I mean is: if the QTC on a #8 head first turns the LED on at, say, 1/1000 of full power and ramps up logarithmically to full power, then would it also start at 1/1000 of the (lower) full power of a #0 head, thereby extending the low range even lower?

I couldn't find an answer by searching this forum, sorry if this had already been discussed!

The QTC acts like a variable resistor. It won't extend the range since the range is from off but you should have easier access to the low levels. Keep in mind that QTC is very inconsistent at lower levels.
