Are these cells equivalent?

Hi all,

I've recently torn apart my Aspire CF Sub ohm and found out it had a YDL 20600D 6.66Wh NA10 150121 cell in there. It's a loosely wrapped cell with soldered contacts.

I'm wondering if I can replace it with any high quality/Amp 18650 cell, like the Sony VTC5.

Any help would be great.

It works and fits just fine. I just experimented.18650 batterys were found from a dell laptop battery. dont think it works as well as the original foil battery but def an upgrade from 1800mah to 2800mah longer life.

I wouldn't use the laptop battery. Not with a sub ohm device. That cell should only have ~5A draw on it. You should replace with a high drain cell
