Hello Acebeam,
Do you have any info to share on this new monster thrower of yours?

I just noticed this on the Acebeam website. I am not as savy and up-to-date with all the new led emitters out there so this is the first time I am learning about the Cree XHP35 led. According to Cree specifications, the XHP35 is 3.45mm x 3.45mm (which is the same dimension as the XPl-HI). As far as I knew, the Cree XPL-HI was the top dog for throw, but the XHP35 looks very promising as well. Although the XHP35 has a dome, it can produce higher lumens than the XPL-HI.

I gotta say this looks very interesting. I already have an Olight M3XS-UT, but if the price is right, I may end up getting the K50V3 as I want another flashlight that can throw far.

Actually I believe they are using the HI model XHP35 so there is no dome which will give a tighter beam angle

Oh wow. I did not even notice that until I took a look back at the Cree lineup and found the XHP35-HI. With that kind of led emitter combined with a large and deep reflector, I am hoping this K50V3 can surpass 300,000 candela. That would be amazing for a stock flashlight.

Very nice, wonder if they have sorted the charger issue out from previous models, even the revised carrier and charger are still not right............maybe got it right this time?

Vinh modded some of these and he sent out an email a few weeks ago that he had just finished the last batch because Acebeam had decided to just have the K70 as their thrower.

Yeah, I did get one from Vinh, but still curious as to why such a short production from Acebeam.
