Does anyone have this burner?
I recently bought one. I was testing it and noticed that the control knob turns especially easily between the lowest setting and the OFF position. The clicking feel of the detent mechanism overall doesn't feel very positive, but rather loose. The ribs along the rod of the control knob are quite shallow. Is this the way it is or have I gotten a defective one. Thanks.

I have had one since 2000. It works like that – very easy to have it go out while adjusting it at a low setting. Very reliable from medium to high. Boils water fast even with a wind.
