Olight R50 Pro: It's here!

So far, just based on videos, it seems the L5 Pro will probably have:

1) 3200 lumens
2) 4500 mAh 26650 battery
3) magnetic tailcap with charger base; safety feature - no short circuit across the charging electrodes at the tailcap is possible when detached from base
4) about 5.2 inches long
5) XHP-70 LED

Wish list:
1) Power button with a very dim flashing beacon to assist in finding the button in the dark; firmware to turn beacon off if desired
2) Low mode less than 20 lumens
3) Low parasitic drain when off

He is actually spot on with the 3200 lumens, 4500mAh 26650, and a magnetic charging base. We are looking at a release at the end of the month.

There must be at least one little morsel of information floating around out there!

3200 lumens from a single 26650 4500mAh, with compact bezel diameter, would be a very nice mid-size light for my nascent collection.

I will be keeping my eye open for beamshots.

Likely a review and it seems in the German language. Waiting for this light to come out in the Olight website......

I think the TLF review above is of the R50, a 1x26650 light with the USB port in the tailcap just like the current R40 except it probably has:

1) XHP50 LED
2) 2500 lumens
3) the latest 4500 mAh 26650 battery
4) slightly shorter than the R40 so about 5.4 inches long
5) Power button is not illuminated like it is on the R40 power button.
6) Small LED for battery status is located at the USB port in the tailcap.

Waiting with great anticipation for this release. It seams a few manufacturers are currently introducing similar single 26650 flashlights. But, none match the alluded to specs of Olight's offering.

This will likely be my first foray into the world of 26650's.

Same here. I thought they offered the R50 (XHP50) and an R50 Pro (XHP70) version, now I see this "L5 Pro"? Are there really 3 different 26650 flashlights, Olight? Any information to clear up this confusion is greatly appreciated.

The L5 Pro was the name of the prototype for the R50 pro. Only two new models will be released.
