Hello,

Just curious how the XML2 Spy compares the the TriV regarding throw. The XML2 Spy has a pretty damn good throw in max output

My second question is...I have a McGizmo mule and am always amazed by the flood of it. How does the TriV flood compare to the mule.

I am thinking the TriV is a must have for me because if it combines mule flood with a throw beam and the reflector for mid range it just seems like everything I want/need in one package.

Thanks for any input

Any McGizmo mule is a fantastic light. I have a LunaSol and I love it. In the mule comparison you are drawing, it mostly comes down to what emitter is being used. The Tri-V flood has no lens. The mule's lens has little effect on the light output. So depending on what emitter is in it and what power level that you set it at, you are going to have the same basic light output.

Cheers
Dave
