Hello I wanted to build a beacon for shooting video and I thought to use a LED type this
http://www.newark.com/bridgelux/bxrc-50g10k0-l-24/led-hb-cool-white-10000lm-5000k/dp/30Y8179

the problem is that I do not know how to feed it in order to have at least 13000lm

You know indicate that drivers use or know I make a circuit to power this LED using two battery packs of 11.1V so as the power source could be putting in serious battery packs 22.2 v

For serious video work, you need a high minimum CRI value of 95 or better, 98 is preferable, manufacturer lists this as 90CRI.

Also 22.2V probably isn't going to cut it, this is a 38V LED

Finally, you're going to need a way to dump a LOT of heat. At 10,000+ lumens, it's going to get very hot & as heat increases, your lumens & CRI will drop.

Manf specs for typical usage:
BXRC-50G10K0-L-24 90
Columns as follows: drive current in mA - typical Voltage @ 25C - typical Wattage @ 25C - typical lumens @ 25C - typical lumens @ 85C - typical lumens / Watt @ 25C

500 35.1 17.6 2725 2367 155
700 35.6 24.9 3752 3256 151
1050 36.4 38.2 5479 4753 143
2100 38.0 79.8 10010 8809 125
2800 39.0 109.2 12792 11145 117
3150 39.5 124.4 13989 12204 112
4200 40.4 169.7 17052 14943 100

To hit your desired lumen level, you need about 123 watts or 5.5 amps @ 22.2 volts.

Lamp is nothing special except form of light , it looks like rugby ball.

Green Forces experimented with such organic forms at video lights ''SQUIDS''

You have ''wet contacts'' ( to much exposed - two needles ) look in library + rotary magnet switch

You have frosted aspherics lense http://www.dx.com/p/63-5mm-23-5mm-5-90-degree-97-transmittance-glass-optic-13736#.V0fzpEyLS9I

You have Led Bridgelux 10000lm http://www.newark.com/bridgelux/bxrc-50g10k0-l-24/led-hb-cool-white-10000lm-5000k/dp/30Y8179 your operating current is 2,1A max 4A)

FIRST COOL DOWN LED THEN OVERPOWER IT !

You need driver like https://pcb-components.de/led-aufwa...d-senser-xtreme-200-2050ma-6v-30v-detail.html (max output operating current 3A )

some control https://pcb-components.de/led-dimmer-module/nano-dim-v2-mini-pwm-dimmer-3-5v-30v-12-53-detail.html

or USA version

http://www.taskled.com/techhboost.shtml + http://www.taskled.com/techpiezotg.shtml +http://www.taskled.com/techpiezosw.shtml

you need small round pack LiFePO4 (it is good that input voltage is somewhere around 1/2 to 2/3 of output voltage) so between 18-22 V . Better is to combine small cells (5,6,7)S

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__14074__ZIPPY_Flightmax_8400mAh_4S2P_30C_LiFePo4_Pack.html or bigger one

http://www.headway-headquarters.com/38120hp-8ah-headway-cell/ but i think you because of size need costum build.

you don't need front glass because of thickness of aspherics , glass can be supported direct on heatsink you need front sealing.

Housing is state of your will.

Data from manufacturer are very ''light'' (to much operating time for 100W and battery capacity ) and regard to housing size

Hello
I wanted to make battery packs on my design, these batteries LG INR 18650 MJ1 3500mAh
Can you tell me if you know a site that makes battery packs with pcb to customer design

Thanks

there are many of them in dive light library

i don't know where you get these accumulators , supposed to buy them and deliver them to workshop ? isn't logic that ?
