I just received a custom light today that Matt built for me and it is the bomb!

I don't have any numbers to brag about but this thing has to pump out at least 4000 lumen... probably more... and believe it or not, it's pocket sized.

Thanks, Matt! And thanks to Ven for recommending the vestureofblood :twothumbs

Coming right up!

I mean it's not small, but it fits in my pocket just fine. I seriously think it might be in the 4500 lumen neighborhood... it lights up my house like some of my big flood lights. Maybe Matt can answered that, if he measured it before mailing.

I'm going to try to take a pic of how it lights up my house, but it's very misty tonight because of more rain we got this afternoon. If I can't get it I'll get it soon and post it. It's crazy bright!

Ok these pics are terrible... my LG G5 would not focus for some reason. It's very dark out.

This first pic is of a modified Surefire Z2 P60 quad. Now please understand that this is not a fair comparison... the Z2 is a one 18650 light (and I love this Surefire fyi), while Matt's custom light holds 2 of the same cell. But I just wanted to show the difference.

EDIT: I re-took the pics... they're much better now.

EDIT #2: I accidentally backed up more away from the house when I re-took the second pic, so it would look even brighter.

Awesome wimmer, congrats ! is that the xhp70 de-dome 5000k?

You know Ven, I'm not sure.(LOL) Matt and I had almost 20 email exchanges trying to decide so there may have been some confusion.

I believe this is the drop in he used...

^^Don't be fooled by the 3000+ description. I guarantee the light he built produces considerably more than that.

Hey Wimmer21,
Awesome light-it is hard to believe that power is coming from that light, but I have seen enough of your posts I have no doubt! Congrats to Matt for lumen magic and to you for scoring awesomeness in an aluminum tube....

Thanks Crazyeddie. Yeah my lumen claims are merely a guess, and I could be over celebrating this light, but all I know is it's crazybright. Lol

Oh and not for nothing, but I'm not easily impressed.

Yes amazing drop in, depending on the cell be it 16340x 2/18350x2/18650x2/26650x2 will give more output due to less sag from the bigger cells. You need a 26650 host now wimmer :naughty:

Other than amazing output , it's the beam/tint that gets me, just a wall of light! Love it!!

Yes very tired wimmer , first aid course and struggling keeping eyes open =not good
