Nice pic!

Looks like 6 x 18650, 5 x XHP35, four inch head diameter. No stainless steel bezel to impart that nice stainless steel bezel look. I will keep an eye on this one.

Looks very promising, when acebeam release a big light.................it is exciting! .................well for me anyway

Hope the build is on level with the k60/k70 of late and they can do something with the parasitic drain of the old x60. Not too fussed on the charger side if they intend to have one on this light.............seems too much of a head ache with 6 cells. Rather the price come down and/or better quality overall than the inbuilt charger..........Looks similar to Fenix on the body section(older style 2600/2900 versions).

I've been trying to decide which big light to save up for and buy next year, this one just might be it

There is a "version" of this available already with the TN40VN xhp35. One of Vinh's specs shows 9000 lumens with 1400 meters throw. I wonder how Acebeam might try to work the pricing with this light. If X65 comes in under $200. I can't see not getting it within the first month of release.

On a German website they mention $500 with accupack and charger. Release will be in October. For me it is getting to expensive.

apparently it has a clicky on the side vs. that retarded rear switch clicky. light jus too dam big to have a rear clicky imo. I'm sure Vin will have fun with this one....

Re: AceBeam X65 - 10,000 Lumens, 1,000m Throw

There are a lot of new, big, powerful lights being offered by more than a few manufacturers. This one has captured more of my attention than all of them. I hope that Vinh will offer this in XHP 35, 50 and 70 for Throw, Search and Flood configuration.

The Acebeam X65vnT is what I am waiting for. But first, Acebeam has to release it. :)

Re: AceBeam X65 - 10,000 Lumens, 1,000m Throw

I predict this light will cost $419.99.
I hope you are correct, because your prediction is lower than my prediction.

I predict with 90% certainty that this light will cost over $500 in Texas, and with 90% certainty that this light will cost over $550 in New York, with Ohio too close to call.

I have a lot of high hopes for this light. If it does not materialize, I will have to look at 100 mm HID to get the combination of power and throw that I want to add to my collection.

Re: AceBeam X65 - 10,000 Lumens, 1,000m Throw

I have been checking the link in the first post of this thread twice a day to see if information for the X65 has been added to the website. Now I can't do that, because acebeam.com website has been down for more than one day.

Oh well. There is 117 mm head diameter, 2300 meter throw, 70 watt HID, if this does not materialize.

A stainless steel bezel ring would give this light a nice finish as well as a degree of protection. Other than that its certainly a very interesting prospect.

Yes, correct; this item and the light that you mention do have similar combination of throw and lumen specs. A combination of throw and lumen specs that I am very much interested in.

If this item does not show additional signs of actually materializing, I will be more tempted by the other item that is highly modified to achieve those specs; as opposed to this item, which is very desirable because it conveniently already has the multiple XHP35 emitters installed at the factory, out of the original box.

Again, nice combination of throw and power, achieved by multiple XHP35 in a package of this size classification. :)

Re: AceBeam X65 - 10,000 Lumens, 1,000m Throw

I am getting more and more excited about this item. It appears that power is not provided by a proprietary battery pack, but maybe we have eight individual user selectable 18650 batteries. In-light charge capability, yes, but I would instead want to select my own cells and charge the batteries outside of the light. If this is possible for this item, I am very much excited about this light.

There are more than a few other large lights on the market that I have not acquired yet, because of the battery pack: I want to select my own cells.

I eagerly anticipate more information about this light, hopefully in the next two or three weeks.

Re: AceBeam X65 - 10,000 Lumens, 1,000m Throw

I see and agree with what your saying mr buff regarding the cells. But i do foresee a ball ache removing and charging 8 cells out of 2 carriers (presumably or one large one). I know you have been put off with the rc40 and proprietary pack or packs in general, but vinh throws in vtc5 or 10a 3500 cells which are up there in the top 5 out today. Having 6 cells, the life is pretty decent for longer uses, plug and charge works very well at 3.5a(could always have a spare pack as well). Although its nice to swap in new cells down the line, i am yet to need to.................all this time on. The r50 to name one more, really is convenient not unscrewing the tail cap all the time. Just nice to have a change sometimes and worth a look one day. You might be surprised:poke: less wear over the years on the threads:whistle:

Although a little in jest with the threads................its not unknown.

I admit though, i am excited this side of the pond for the x65, although acebeam are not the perfect manufacturer , they do push the boundaries . They are not afraid(unlike Fenix) to use fresh/new LED's and help push back the darkness with high output flashlight's. Good innovators imo and hope we see lots of exciting lights down the line, just wish they could get more accurate on their measurements. QC to get brushed up some(remember the carrier issues )............maybe why this light is taking a while. I will go on a whim it may be to do with the charging side , of which like you i would not use(heck 8 high drains in a tube................no thanks!)

Ohhh 8*18650 this is amazing!!
Most of the flashlights that are that powerful are moded and use 4*18650 so they have bad runtimes step down and get to hot
I gess this one would have a step down too but it's could sustain 5000lm
