And first impressions don't disappoint! The machining is exquisite as is the general design of the whole package.

I only received this today, so have yet to experience the beauty of the beam, I'm sure that will also live up to the expectations.
The only ones I will really be curious in comparing this to is my Malkoff MD2 M61 Nichia 219b Hi/Lo and my HDS EDC Rotary.

This is the XML2 with the HIVE driver :)
I also have the XPG2 HIVE on it's way to me but because I live in Scotland, it does take a while to get to me.

You can't beat the tint of Don's XP-G2s! I have one in my TerraRam, and I like the color ever better then, the Nichia 119/219! Like a super white incandescent bulb!

Hi, congrats on your new light. I myself have one of those earlier XPG/3S variants.

Looking at your posted photos, I am curious with the op reflector. Is this reflector same as the previous variant ie. the XPG?

Hi,

That is the XM-L2 emitter, and that reflector is different than the one on my XP-G2 reflector. The XM-L2 is more stippled, the XP-G2 less of an Orange Peel effect.
