I received mine two days ago. It's tough the mail service was brutal. The box was crushed and heavily damaged. Both set of fins and the bezel are very well pressed into the thick cardboard that I could take measurements from them on fin width and depth. The light however was unscathed from the crushing. It's two switches with display window makes the light easily a home or workshop favorite. I know it's setting and voltage with a quick look. 20, 300, 2500 appear about on par with the output. 3800 appears that way with the battery over 4.00 volts. On high or turbo the light gets hot quickly letting me know two things; good thermal path and maybe a little too small for the output. For the negatives I would like a 1 and 900 lumen modes added. 900 I think would be at that heat management level where it could stay on, be bright and not over heat. That also happen to be it's default setting when the light does overheat. It's just not your choice on the buttons. Because of the two small button being hard to find by touch and the over heating on it's highest modes this is not a tactical or search and rescue light. This is an everything else light. Small enough of EDC, bright enough to light up a parking lot, tough enough to survive the mail. In a severe power outage it could tail stand and light a room for a few days.

Cool looking light, I agree with you on it needing a couple more modes to fill some gaps there, if it had a 900 setting I would buy one.

I received mine in the middle of January.
I agree with the rest when set on high. It warms up to almost hot in about 8 - 10 minutes.
In the manual it states that it reduced the light to 900lm for heat management. The heat management does work though. I left it on and did the feel test. It was very very warm/hot to the touch. I left it on for about 15 minutes and it was very warm to the touch but manageable. I didn't check the output as I wasn't paying attention to it.
The buttons are hard to find in total darkness or when it is very dark.
It should have a 900 or 1000 lm mode to break up the large spread from 300 to 2500.
The 3800 lm isn't much brighter to the eye then the 2500lm.
It's more useful as an EDC then anything else. More bloody in my opinion then a spot.
Fit and finish is very good, no imperfections found upon close inspection. I use this for when I'm outside in the yard smoking a cigar when I don't want the house spots to be on.
At the end of the day I like it. It's like the nitecore MH20 with a bigger battery.
I do like the use of a 26650 battery in it. I use an Orbtronic 520MAH in it and it charges fine, and works perfectly in the light.

My first post Yay!

my lights if interested:

Olight SR52UT
Thrunight TN35
Fenix LD75C
Fenix PD35TAC
Fenix FD40
Nitecore SRT7
Nitecore MH20
and the one that started it: The Atomic BEAM...

Thanks for the read

This is an interesting one. Sure it packs a lot of output for the size, and the integrated charger is handy.

I am a bit surprised about the relatively short run time at 20lm - of course 50h is not too shabby, but it seems that the LEDs draw quite a bit of power even at the lowest setting.

Agree with the others, one or two more output settings would also be an improvement.

I'VE just received mine. I'm very happy. Test 25500 candela and around 3000 Lumens. Definitely brighter then my DQG 26650 flashlight.

I just received mine today, but I think there may be something wrong with mine. When I press the power button (right side) it does not turn on, but the Imalent logo shows up on the OLED screen and then goes away. I have to press the power button multiple times for it to turn on. Is there a trick to this flashlight?
