Lighting for monument sigh

I need to light a monument sign. The sign is arc shaped with a slight inward curve The inside arc is 18 feet and its height is 9 feet 6 inches. The lettering is centered vertically and is about 2 feet high. I want to light it with LEDs to conserve energy and maintenance. The lights will be in an area with sprinklers. How many lights should I use and what would be the recommended wattage for them? Are there particular brands that are better than others?

first off it depends on what type of power you have at that location. You can do a 12V low voltage system, such as a household pathway lights. There are a lot of nice systems with LED floods. I have 110v available for the sign. It needs to be bright enough to see from at least 50-100 feet while driving. The background is beige and the lettering is bronze. We want it to pop and be really be noticeable to those driving by at 35mph. I am trying to determine quantity and wattage of floods.
