i somehow did the math on that, and it will put .25 lux on an obect at ..... 192 MILES !! :laughing::eek::eek::laughing:

So that's basically half a Luxor Sky Beam you can tow around behind your car..

close it seems, but for the size compared?
never heard of the luxor, just googled it
what a light
so then i saw chris angel levitated above it in a video
then started watching david blaine videos.....
so i just wasted 3 hours of my life thanks to you ! lol !

No. It's not right. That light use 7 rhodium reflectors, appears to be 16". Each using a 850W Emarc lamp (that I happen to own myself) I estimate the actual number to be between 600-700 million candela.

If you stand just outside the Luxor and look up at the beam, it's visible for so far vertically that it gives the illusion that it leans slightly in your direction.

All of Vegas is down in a big flat valley that's surrounded by mountains, so when you're driving towards it from a distance, you see the beam first and then a while later after going over/around some mountains, you then see the city.

I stop counting things when you can no longer carry them. Technically the king of throw and flood is the sun, but u can't really carry it lol
