Well, state of the art for ~1913-1914

Picked it up today at an antique show. Almost in pristine condition.
I hope I'm in as good shape when I'm 103-104 years old.

Based on the online flashlight museum site, I think it is a
"baby Comet" with a Walleye lens. It takes two 'C' cells.
Paid $40.

Epic Score!!

In case you need to know yellow Rayovac carbon zinc cells slide in and out in those oldies.

But be sure to remove them when not in use. Not prone to leak like those oldies, but safer than sorry is the best policy.

Thanks!

By any chance could you recommend a replacement bulb for this light? (2xC cells)
I'd like to buy a few and have them on hand in case the bulb in the light decides to die some day!

Thanks!!!!

Ordered 2 packs. .

That light is just about equivalent in output to my first LED light. . Which also still works.

^^ Says a lot about both pre-historic incans as well as the early LED's.

2 packs should last your lifespan plus. Glad to help.

Actually the search for #14's for you lead to a discovery of a batch of Holland made #112 Norelcos (1aa penlight type) from the 1960's for 12¢ each. So.. thank you!

I have a few styles of 1aa mini lights from the 1930's to the 1960's that put out a real nice jewel thief bright beam with Holland made Norelcos. So finding them for 12¢ apiece was quite the thrill.
