The 16340 (though likely icr) interests me more than the 70mm 18650.

Just so I can have my sc32w be a tiny, self sustained system.

Oh. That is interesting. Those might be great for the solar backpack setup. As in perfect assuming they are not prone to a charging error. Also are the sizes the same as most protected lithium ion batteries?

I've strong doubts the (internal) charger on the battery, is just as good as real li-ion chargers. It's impossible to have that many (quality) components on such a small area.

Someone on my YT channel asked if the Fenix USB batteries could also be charged in a regular lithium ion charger.

Here is the size comparison between the standard 18650 design and the USB-charging design:

Ah, but technology advances daily. These USB-charging 18650 batteries are performing very well and are great sellers for Fenix. All 18650 designed batteries have a full one-year warranty so you always have that assurance from Fenix products.

Has anyone tried and/or reviewed these yet? I have and like the Klarus USB rechargeable 14500 batteries, but they do not make an 18650 version. These look promising.

Check out the 18650's on our website and look at the customer reviews.
That's all we can offer right now.

We release every review customers submit--unless the review isn't actually reviewing the product and reviewing the packaging, Post Office service, etc.

Fenix, have you considered offering NCR18650G with a charging circuit?
That would be so awesome...

Wow, this is surreal!
Does the 18650 one work with Fenix tk15UE? Does the 16340 work with HL50 and HM50?
What's the charging current when using the USB port?

If this is working well, the hell with the ugly-rubber-covered water-leakage-worrisome usb charging port on the flashlight body!

Might want to fix the typos on the weights listed. The ARB-L16-700U (the 123A replacement) is listed as weighing 183.5 grams, or over 6.55 oz. while the ARB-L18-3500 weighs 50 grams or 1.79 oz. though it is listed as 5.6 oz. You're shooting yourselves in the foot advertising lightweight lithium ion cells at 3 to 6 times their actual weight.

I can not find the battery-length requirements of Fenix tk15UE and HL50. Could you please confirm if these batteries work?
