Hi all

Have a large floor lamp that's actually used for room illumination (no ceiling lights in this house save for kitchen and bathrooms)

Originally it had a G25 bulb in it with the half of the globe away from the base silvered. That burned out and was replaced with an A19 type bulb as that was the only one I could find for sale anywhere that I could get it (and I had to go to Batteries Plus to get it) - I cannot even find that product with a web search

Bulb needs to be ~200W or LED equivalent

Any ideas anyone? Oddly while the replacement bulb has not failed, it is noticeably dimmer than it used to be - output is approximately that of a 40-60W bulb if I had to guess.

yeah I would prefer it to be a "silver bowl"

It's a big IKEA lamp with a marble base, with a large downward facing metal reflector. If I just shoved a 150W or 200W (or equivalent LED) bulb in it it would likely be way too harsh. The "silver bowl" bulb reflects the light back up into a large metal reflector, much like those big lights in a doctor's or dentist's office. Unfortunately IKEA has apparently discontinued all non-LED bulbs and don't sell a replacement for this one.

This is really all I can find

200W frosted A19

100W G25 (not sure if this would be bright enough?)

I think I saw a 150W A19 somewhere as well

can't find ANYTHING for sale in B&M stores

G40 would be doable but I haven't found any of those either
