I have always liked numbers. I was the times table champion in 4th Grade!

My Goal, in terms of miles, is for Capo and I to walk around the World.24,901 miles/40,075KM.
,
I have done my calculations which allowed a more than generous deduction of RAINY days. It has to rain hard for us not to go. We have never missed a day due to cold weather[!] nor 90+ degree summer days when the temperature is in the 80's right after dark.

I can not predict the future. The miles from now on are the estimates if Capo stays healthy and strong which I expect. On a side note. Togo, who the LEAD Dog for Leonhard Seppala in the "Great Serum Run of 1925" was Twelve[12] years old when they accomplished that unbelievable feat! They also logged Double the miles of any other relay team and had the most dangerous leg across Norton sound[Bering Sea]!Capo and Togo are almost identical weights and Huskies average life span is 12 to 15 years.

I have met Two people who had Huskies 17 years old, One who was 18, and another 19!

Here is my breakdown of miles. The First year was doggy day care a few days a week. The Second year I am pretty sure I underestimated our miles. I will use 6/day for that year anyway. Year Three[3] and up I am using 7 miles/day which is a very good estimate.I subtracted Fifteen[15] total days per year which is Thirty walks/year eliminated because I walk him Twice/day.that would be unlikely to miss that many walks per year.

Breakdown in MILES:

1st Year=1000
2nd year=2100 6mi/day
3rd year=2450-7mi/day
4th year=2450-7mi/day
5th year=2450- '' ''
6th year=2450- '' ''
7th year=2450- " " As of April 30th, 2017 I will have walked Capo at least 13,686 miles/2201KM:wave:
8th year=2450- " "
9th year=2450- " "
10th year=2450-" "
11th year=2450-" " Projected: after 11 years it would be 25,150 miles/40,475KM! :D At that point GOD WILLING we would have walked around the World!

The day I got my son- March 18th,2011. Very FIRST Picture!

lol!! I was wondering if someone would ask me that question! Sneakers last me 3 or 4 months, mostly because of OVER pronation! Most people have that to some degree. My Sneakers Always wear out on the outside heel. When I found SHOE GOO[!] it extended the life of my sneakers by Two or Three times!

One thing I started doing about 10 years ago was buy quality sneakers! I have Nike, Reebok and have used Asics.
