Can anyway advise me on a few options for a good rechargeable handheld spot/flood light. I like to get the brightess and longest range.

Maybe some options for sale here?

If you don't mind the size of a 2x 18650 lithium ion light, I'd get the Fenix TK35UE, 2000 lumen model. Just lots of lumens with a bit of throw too. You will have to take the batteries out to charge separately though. This is the light of all the ones I have that I'd use when at Lake Powell at night going through the cutoff in shallow water looking for obstacles.

While the unmodded flashlight isn't rechargeable , the EverReady Dolphin 6V Lantern is a great boating choice:

200 lumens
250m/820ft range
65 hour runtime
Waterproof
Floats
1m/3ft drop rating
Anti-roll design
Recessed button
Rubber handle
Lifetime guarantee

For max throw (unmoded lights) thrunite tn42 (1600m ansi throw)
For a combination of throw and power acebeam x65 (ansi 12000lm and 1300m throw) or a cheaper option thrunite tn40 (4500lm 1100m throw)

An aspherical zoomie like JAX. Would do nicely. That's what I use to spot bouy at 300 yards!
