I am considering buying some outlet covers that have built in LED night lights. I know that both SnapPower and Nigtt Angel make them. I can buy the Night Angels locally. The SnapPower versions are available online. Has anybody here used either of these?

I saw the Night Angel at Walmart and was intrigued, so I did some research when I got home. Based on my research, I decided not to buy one, as it seemed like a cheap facsimile of the Snappower Guide Light.

Check out some of the online reviews (e.g. Amazon). They are not good.

Disclaimer: I have not used either product. But it looks like SnapPower is suing the marketers of Night Angel: https://search.rpxcorp.com/litigation_documents/12322355

Thank you for the reply. That is interesting. I wonder if the SnapPower versions are okay?

I am still interesting in getting some of the SnapPower Guidelights. I checked on-line and I see that there are knock offs of both the SnapPower and Night Angel there for quite a bit less money. I wonder if the actual SnapPower Guidelights are made at the same factory in China as the knock-offs? The reason I ask that is because the electrician at my work and I had some conversations recently about LED lights. His comment was to buy whatever is the least expensive because they are all made at the same factories in China!

If they are suing likeMattPete says, I don't think they are made at the same factory. I would get the SnapPower ones. Though a little pricier, it does seems they are the original and are have good reviews. To me that generally means they will work better IMHO.
