Lens Efficiency by Material

Contemplating a project requiring a lens, I was wondering of what benefit it would be to use glass as opposed to some kind of cheaper resin. I looked here at this website to see if I could learn the numeric efficiencies of certain resins compared to glass but didn't find any numbers.

Can anyone point me to a reference that provides transmission efficiencies for resins and glass (with or without full/multiple coatings?)

Thanks.

Thanks. Any preferences for a good source for bi-convex lenses and seats?
That's a fairly broad question ( budget, material, quantity, specs, etc? ) and I'm not expert on those, but others here may have suggestions for you, especially if you care to describe the specifics of your project in more detail ....

I'm only asking for a vendor...sort of like asking for the time of day. It's very quiet in here.
