can this one be used in totally enclosed? I have a ceiling mount with two bulbs and the daylight this one puts out is great. It would be next to a standard 40w incadesent.
The only thing i can find info on online is for the 2u-00 and 3u-00.

The Cree 60W Equivalent Daylight (5000K) Dimmable LED Light Bulb gives your space a daylight-like glow, but uses at least 85% less energy than incandescent bulbs. Use it either indoors or outdoors in enclosed locations. It offers up to 25,000 hours of light and is backed by a 10-year limited manufacturer warranty.
This is from Home Depot's site. I am however not sure that having a 40 watt incan heating up the fixture would help things if you could go to 2 LED bulbs there would be less heat generated in the fixture for the bulbs to cope with.

Thanks...
UPDATE: just heard from Cree...and hope they read the last part of the number correctly :)

Hello Rob,

Thank you for taking the time to contact us.

Yes, you can use
ba19-08050omf-12de26-1u_00 in a enclosed fixture. However, I would not recommend using a 40w incandescent on the same fixture due to it being a different wattage/incandescent. I would get the same 60-watt daylight (ba19-08050omf-12de26-1u_00) bulb in one fixture.

Please feel free to contact me if I may be of further assistance.

Your case number is: 00153103.

Thank you,
Sion
