I edc a Fenix PD22.
I want the exact same light with micro USB charging.
Obviously I've considered the PD25. The problem is it DOES NOT use standard micro USB to charge, it uses a proprietary magnetic cable.
This defeats the point of micro USB charging for me. The convenience is that I can use the same cable I keep by my bed, in my car, in my office etc. to charge my phone/gps/blue tooth headphones etc., to charge my light. I do not want to carry around a special cable for one device instead of being able to use any Micro USB cable.
So I'm looking for alternatives but they all have issues.
For example I tried a Jetbeam E10R and I hate the power button being on the side and the clip is atrociously bad.
Checked out a Nitecore MH1C at a store and the clip was unbelievably poorly designed, having half the light sticking out of my pocket.
So what's a light I should be looking at? It must:
- Charge via standard USB cable on the light body
- Tail cap activation switch
- Pocket clip that does not swivel around easily
- Deep carry pocket clip so the entire light is in my pocket while carried
- 300 lumens + on max
