Hi everyone

Is there any torch very similar to the Rub-R-Lite made today?

No one with any idea?
Some additional details as to why you want this particular (unusual, rare, vintage, obsolete) item, if you care to share those, might help others here to help you more effectively.

Is it as a collectible ?
Or some specific functional need ?
Or ... ???

Early dive light.
Trouble was they were finicky and were not easy to figure out something as easy as changing a battery.

You might check into Tekna brand dive lights if you seek something modern and inexpensive. And they are US made too.

They trade as Tektite these days and the owner is a CPF member.

Well...
It is supposed to be a companion to these, all new versions of WWII popular/issued items.

Found a candidate in Australia, but they don't answer emails.

Thanks, but those lights aren't at all a match for the Rub-R-Lite (what I can google any way..)

Thought maybe you just wanted a dive light.

Maybe contact "what price glory"? Whatpriceglory.com.

They have reproductions of military items galore. Last I checked they had done some right angle flashlight reproductions that are authentic to WW2 issued.
