Hi everyone, I haven't been around long time, it's because I'm bussy with other things and I have no longer time to make lights anymore, but I did manage to finish one of my long going project, The Triple X, only one of a kind with solid titanium triple optics, It took long time to make this one, just the polishing of the optics took 2h, it's powered by 26650 battery, 6Amp driver, triple XP-L2 4000k led, reverse clicky switch on the side and micrograin finish. Ti6AL4V body, 148mm long, 40mm dia head, 32mm dia body and 320g of weight. Price $1500 $1400 $1200 SOLD! including P&P

Titanium optic FTW!!!
Titanium, with the right prep and tons of elbow grease, can end up looking like chrome. Usually have to sand it down to at least 2000 grit paper before getting into the polishing compounds.
Crazy impressive piece!!!

Re: FS: Triple X

Thanks guys.
Yes sand paper up to 2000 grid on top of the pencil to get in to the bottom of the optic and then dremel polishing kit to finish it up.

I think we're getting to the point where the phrase "you've outdone yourself" is loosing it's impact and should be replaced by this new one: "Your a Luter!" So just send it to me and I promise it will be well looked after

That surface finish looks awesome ... your designs always strike me as distinctively organic, even steampunk

Re: FS: Triple X

I am curious to know what the beam looks like and how many lumens it outputs. Also, what is the UI?

Re: FS: Triple X

Hi, it has 22 groups of modes so plenty to choose from, the highest is around 2400lm and lowest is around 20lm.

As chipwillis mentioned because he already pm me and ask the same question. :) and to complete the answer the beam pattern is medium - compared to the standard carclo optic.
